Juvenile Fillies Turf Predictions Picks 2017 Breeders Cup

Here we go, the time is here. The 2017 Breeders Cup World Championships are so close we can taste it and wallets just might be itching to get in on the action. We believe in providing information to anyone who wants it and we do not believe in charging for it despite what many have told us. Why? Information is key and the more insights, opinions, numbers, or other tidbits a handicapper can get will only benefit them. Do we bet? Yes we do but we pick and choose when the logic dictates and that is what all of you should do. If you are not sure then do not bet. It does not matter if you are reading Juvenile Fillies Turf predictions or a maiden race on a Wednesday. If you believe then bet. If you are not sure then just watch and enjoy. Always remember that.

The Backstory – Over the years I have continued to modify how I break down each race based on input from the readers (Thank for your reading and leaving feedback over the years). That could be from any number of sites I have created content for including Sports Unbiased. However, when I started Longshot Horse Racing, I wanted to apply all I heard and get away from very granular and in-depth analysis of each horse in the field. Many claimed the reading was dry and over the top. Now you will find data about each horse, how it should shake out, and we will have a little fun doing it. If you want just the raw numbers then Brisnet, Equibase, or even the Daily Racing Form are right up your alley (and mine since I love them all) but if you want the breakdown with a twist then read on and enjoy.

Juvenile Fillies Turf Predictions Contenders Analysis

red saddle cloth post 1Best Performance – More than interesting entrant here in the one. She will be coming late and the tight turns should not factor since a sweeping outside move is more probable. Last two starts on the grass were more impressive than the stat lines indicates. The pace was slow and a challenge to close into. That will not be the case here. Very very interesting.

white saddle cloth post 2Happily – Will receive a lot of money at the window as will many European invaders at the Breeders Cup. The distance is of no concern for this one and has multiple G1 scores implying there are no class concerns. Will be short priced.

blue saddle cloth post 3Now You’re Talking – Impossible? I won’t say that but I will offer the following: Never won, never raced over six furlongs, and less of invader stock. Could not be more shocking if this one scores.

yellow saddle cloth post 4Madeline – Another European invader here. The plus side is she has raced against some top group competition but on the flipside, has never scored against them. This is a tough spot to try and change that now.

green saddle cloth post 5Ultima D – Wesley Ward brings this one in to try and steal it. There is speed here and she will go. It would not be the first time jockeys misjudge and a flyer can’t be caught. There is just too much quality power here and to many others that will not let her go it alone.

black saddle cloth post 6Orbolution – First third in last race, a Grade 3, to two others in this field. Appears to be nothing more than an outsider despite Todd Pletcher pedigree.

orange saddle cloth post 7Capla Temptress – Bill Mott has a live one here. She scored in North American debut north of the border. Normally that is a lower level event but when the rest of the exotic from that race had stakes wins next out then it boosts credibility. Overall not likely but could surprise.

violet saddle cloth post 8Significant Form – We are at the point in the form when we talk about the insanity that is Chad Brown. Here lies one of his two entrants and this is the one that will try and take this from the front side. Scored win in debut but was disqualified and came back with another score. Chad has taken horses to the winners circle in this race three times and his pairing might yield another.

teal saddle cloth post 9Fatale Bere – Three scores in four career starts. She is getting better but is she primed for the big step forward she will need to capture this one?

dark purple saddle cloth post 10September – Enter another European invader and this one comes into Del Mar with incredible form. True that she did not win her last start at Newmarket but she was the best and lost by less than a nose (if that’s possible). There was a ton of trouble that she should learn from. She will be coming and it will be fast.

grey saddle cloth post 11Rushing Fall – Here lies the backend of the Chad Brown duo and the one more likely to make noise at the Breeders Cup. She uncorked an insane run to score in last start and this could be the beginning of a reign of dominance over the next year. Task one is scoring here but will be aided by a stablemate up front giving her what she needs. If she avoids trouble she can be tough.

lime green saddle cloth post 12Dixe Moon – No score against top foes to show yet. Did finish second to Capla Temptress but honestly there is nothing saying a big step forward is due here.

brown saddle cloth post 13Juliet Capulet – Shows up here after a solid Group 2 win. This European invader will afford you some value due to concerns that she might not love stretching out to this distance. That being said, the extra distance is somewhat negated by the firmness of the Del Mar turf in comparison to her normal conditions. All current signs point to a horse ready to really fire and she should sit to get the first jump if she lands a stalking trip.

maroon saddle cloth post 14Moon Dash – Appears to have tons of ability but very lightly raced. She did finish second to Fatale Bere in a lower level stakes at Santa Anita. First challenge is the class jump for this one and the second is post 14. This is probably more than she can handle at this time.
